Your Blog’s First 30 Days: Step By Step on What You Exactly Have to Do.

I). Introduction:

(Your Blog)

If you are a brand new blogger and you want to start making money with your blog. The first 30 days are very important in this aspect now.
These are the days you have to set the foundation for your blog starting from the NICHE you chose, the KEYWORD you will be making money with in the near future, and eventually what your WEBSITE actually looks like.

In this tutorial, I’m going to give you what I called a FULL 30 DAY GAMEPLAN TO START YOUR BLOG THE RIGHT WAY.
This is how you can start from ground zero like I did which involves no TRAFFIC, no BACKLINKS, and a brand new DOMAIN.

So let’s get right into it now…
But before we get started make sure you subscribe to my newsletter by clicking HERE and subscribing through my home page form subscription, this will enable you to get access to my blog tutorial called BLOG SOLUTION TIPS (V-1.0)

Starting a Blog:-

Starting a blog is pretty easy but turning it into a business is where the difficulty stems from.
So, we will cover the first 30 days and exactly what you should do to succeed.
Let’s start week by week, starting from week zero to week one.

II). WEEK 1 (ONE):- Niche Validation And Keyword Research:

This week, you are not supposed to build your blog yet. This is like a research pre-planning production face.
In this stage, we are going to figure out what your niche is, what your keywords are, and what your actual content strategy will look like.

BLOGTOSTAY TIPS:- The sincere truth here is that you have to understand HOW TO MAKE MONEY BLOGGING FIRST, before starting to write content.

There are things you need to understand and they are:
a). What makes affiliate revenue.
b). What makes Ad revenue.
c) What post to write and what Niche they are going to be redirected to?

Now, let’s cover that by looking into the types of articles you will be writing to make money from your blog when starting out.

3 TYPES OF ARTICLES:

1) Articles for affiliate revenue.
2) Articles for traffic and Ad revenue.
3) Articles to get links.
Let us start by covering them one by one.

1). Articles for Traffics and Ad (Informational Articles):-
Informational articles are what people search for most on the internet. Even though they are not going to make you any money through affiliate revenue, they can easily rank on Google search and make you money through Ad revenue.

Remember, your blog should contain a lot of information on your niche.
You can use tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush and more for keyword Exploration to research for information content that will rank well in your niche.

Using Ahrefs For Keyword Exploration:
Let’s assume we want to talk about “iPhones” For example you can put on the search form “How iPhones” and press “Enter” on your computer keyboard. Image description below:

Then on the left-hand sidebar menu, click “Matching terms” and it will give you all of the ideas on informational content you can write. Image description below:

Another good informational content to rank for is the “ideas post” for example: “tattoo ideas” or “blogging ideas” You can research ideas post using one of the tools I mentioned regarding your niche blogging.

2). Articles for Affiliate Revenue:-
Next, we will talk about a blog post that makes us more money through affiliate revenue. In this aspect we will be observing what is called the “BEST” SIGNIFIES BUYER INTENT.

For example, people may be searching for “About Laptops, Credit cards, tents and more.”
Anything you can think of in Amazon, or Software, Finance. These are articles you see on my blog posts like 7 BEST PODCAST HOSTING COMPANIES etc.

To get more topics on this kind of content, open your Ahrefs or similar tools like that, and search for keywords as I indicated before. Example: You can search something like: “Best Laptops” and you will be met with a whole lot of topics. Image description below:

Now let us talk about articles to get links.

3). Articles to Get Links:-
These keyword articles are things that will get you passive links. These are topics like “TRENDS” “STATISTICS” “CALCULATORS OR GENERATORS”. To search article topics on these keywords, go to your Ahrefs or similar tools and type in “fashion trends” for example.
Image description below:

These are interesting pieces of topics that you can write to get passive links on trending fashions.

Then let’s recap how you can mix these contents.
— You need to have many information contents for Google ranking and Ad placement, then some transactional posts for affiliate revenue, and a few link-building posts on your blog.

So, let us examine the goals we have set for ourselves at the end of the first seven days.

–> Goals at The End of The First 7 Days:-
a). You need to have a clear NICHE and KEYWORD strategy.

b). Come up with 30 Keyword ideas:

  • 15 informational posts (For Ad revenue)
  • 10 transactional posts (for affiliate revenue)
  • 5 link posts (For link generation)

c). Avoid destructive landmines:

  • Wrong Domain Name:– Do not pigeonhole yourself into creating a tiny niche website. For example; having something like kickboxing.com, instead of having something like thefightingguy.com which will cover kickboxing, wrestling and all about fighting.
I recommend a personal brand to keep your domain name broader.
  • Wrong Niche: If your domain name is broader by choosing a personal brand, your niche will be extensible.

III). WEEK 2: THE ACTUAL TIME TO BUILD YOUR WEBSITE:-

Below are simple strategies to follow and build your website:
a). Use WordPress.
b). Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks.
c). There is a need for your main four pages: Home, About, Blog Archive, and Contact pages.
d). Design considerations (colour schemes that appeal to the eyes)
e). Major WordPress Plugins:
–> WP Rochet.
–> Rank Math (SEO plugin).
–> ShortPixel (Image indexing).
–> WordFence.
f). Set up Google Analytics and search console.
Then let’s review my own website as an example (Layouts)

DESCRIPTION AND MAJOR ARTICLES LAYOUT:- Image description below:

THEN THE FOOTER LAYOUT: Image description below:

Then let’s have a recap of the end of the 14 days (second week)
.. You have built a functioning website

  • Home Page
  • About Page
  • Contact Page
  • At least one blog post is alive.
Now let’s delve into week three which is…

IV). WEEK 3: CREATING YOUR CONTENT ASSEMBLY PROCESS:-

Here, you have to bear in mind that blogging is a science, not an art or creative writing. This means you can create this monetization content every single time.
With this, you can get your process going just like in science.
Let’s look at the scalability process in this week three (3).

Day 15 – 21: Your Content Assembly Line:-
a) To AI or not to AI?
In this you have two options, either to use AI or not to use it. You can make use of these two processes:
–> Surfer AI or Content at Scale plus human editing(Faster these days).
–> Human writing with Surfer SEO ( Old school type of writing with Surfer SEO and editing humanely)

Then you have to come up with your own method called the content assembly method. Either to create:
–> Your MVP ( Minimum Viable Posts):- Something that is not ten thousand words articles, something you can create quickly and efficiently as high-quality content. Then,
–> Indexing Your Blog Posts:- You can use AI to get your article well arranged with an intro, table of content, description and meta-description, body, and conclusion.

You can use Surfer SEO or chat GPT-4.

Blogtostay Tips:- Look at how I get my blog posts structured for indexing using Chat GPT-4: I do ask Chat Gpt questions patterning my blog topic in this form. Example: “Give me a topical map on the topic ‘BEST SEO TOOLS FOR BLOGGERS IN 2023‘” And all the indexing structures will be out for you to follow as a guideline.

Then let’s look at the goals we have achieved at the end of the third week.

Goals At the End of 21 Days (3 Weeks):-
a) make sure you get your first three articles published on your blog and optimized for SEO in this format:
–> One post should be for link generation.
–> One post for affiliate revenue and,
–> The other post for an informational article.

Though it can take you time and effort to achieve this fit. But if you have one informational post, an affiliate article and a link-building article at the end of twenty-one days (3 weeks), you are making really good progress.
Then let’s look at the last week which will be the days 21 – 30:

V). WEEK 4: Days 21 – 30:- Link Building and Your Day-To-Day Blogging Operations—

This is the time to get this process running, going, and consistent. Let’s look at the breakdown information of week four.

Days 21 – 30: Link Building And Day-To-Day Operations:-

a). Begin your link-building strategy after publishing three articles ( do not make the mistake of waiting.)
Remember as a beginner, it is going to be harder for Google to index you in order to get to pages three, two and one.

In this early stage, you have to take control of things, that is why you have to start with Guest posts, outreach and so many systems of fostering relationships in order to build your backlinks relationships.

b). You need to build a templated pitch page which you can use to reach out to companies through LinkedIn (social media), reaching out to these companies and blogs through their website’s contact information, requesting to write guest posts for them.
I advise you to read my article on link building: LINK BUILDING:- The Currency of The Internet.

So, let’s summarize the goals at the end of thirty days.

Goals At The End of The 30 Days:–

— You have a blog up and running.
— You have 6 – 8 blog posts live.
— You have a finished link-building outreach template designed.
— You have started the day-to-day operations of a successful blogger that is ready to blogtostay and never leave.

The above achievement will guarantee you become a successful blogger with:
*). Ability to be creating ongoing content.
*). Ongoing link building.
Then this engine will ensure a continuous process, keeping you going and going all along.

VI). CONCLUSION:

Then MONETIZATION IS A BYPRODUCT OF RANKING FOR CONTENT. which is A BYPRODUCT OF YOUR CONTENT AND LINK BUILDING EFFORTS.
You don’t need to throw a chunk of affiliate content all along, that process will come up within five to six months of blogging.

Remember that you have to set yourself up for success which is choosing the right NICHE, the right KEYWORD, and creating quality CONTENTS.

I know you are going to make mistakes at the beginning. Maybe setting up a website is difficult, or not sure how to write content, or not familiar with SEO. (You can contact me here for that.)

Have in mind that it is okay to make mistakes because, through mistakes, we all learn a whole lot at last. But in a situation whereby you are extremely confused and don’t know what to do next, you can contact me just like I said above and we will have a one-on-one discussion to ascertain the solutions to your problems.
Thanks and remain blessed.
