As we all know, getting money requires taking risks, being optimistic, and putting yourself out there. While keeping money requires the opposite of taking risks.
This requires the aspect of humility, fear that what you’ve made can be taken away from you just fast. That element of frugality and acceptance that at least some of what you’ve made is attributable to luck, which means, past success can’t be relied upon to repeat indefinitely.
Here comes the hidden secret “SURVIVAL” not just “growth” “brain” or “insight.” It is the ability to stick around for a long time, without wiping out either by self or any other forces.
Or being forced to give up, and this is what makes the biggest difference.
And “SURVIVAL” should be the cornerstone of your strategy, whether in investing, career, or a business that you own.
In 2016 I created “Blogtostay” and after a year and six months, this app was already making thirty-five thousand visitors per month to her credit.
About to be monetized with ‘ad’ I had a drastic car accident and was unable to do so and finally lost the company. But that didn’t stop me from trying, and in 2023 after many years I launched the app and today, Blogtostay is one of the fastest-growing blogs on the internet.
And my personal secret stems from being afraid of going out of business. Which means, only the paranoid survives.
So, always assume that tomorrow won’t be like yesterday. Do not be complacent.
And never do you assume that yesterday’s success will translate into tomorrow’s good fortune.
