What They Don’t Teach Us About Growing Money — (Blogtostay)

(Growing Money) The iceberg was the great peak that perforated and sank the Titanic Ship.
Still, you don’t need tremendous force to create this tremendous accumulation that results in mountainous ice with tiny peaks.

So when something compounds with little growth that serves as the fuel for future growth, this means that a small starting base has led to results so extraordinary they seem to defy logic.

This starting base can be so logic-defying that you would underestimate its possibilities, where the growth is coming from, and equally what it can lead to.

And this is exactly the case with money.

There are many books dedicated to how Warren Buffet the richest man built his wealth.
But none of them pay attention to the real facts. This is the fact that Buffet’s wealth did not come out of being a good investor but from being a good investor since he was a kid (Earlier in time).

Let us consider a little thought experiment on this great man and his wealth…….

This man Buffert began serious investing when he was 10 years old. By the time he was 30, he had a net worth of $1 million.
What if he was one of us who spent our teens and 20s exploring the world and partying, and by age 30 we would have been worth only, say, $25,000?

Today, he is worth $84.5 billion at almost 100 years old. Let’s assume he was with the ordinary annual investment returns at (22% annually).

And went ahead to quit investing and retired at age 60 to play around and spend time with his grandkids. He would have been worth only $11.9 million, not the whooping amount of $84.5 billion he is worth today.
Which could have been 99.6% less than his actual net worth today.

What do you think we can learn from this compounding investor? It’s very simple, his skill is investing, but his secret is time. That’s how compounding works. Take note of that brethren.

The reality is that what seems like small changes in growth assumptions can lead to ridiculous, impractical numbers.

So when studying why something became so great in a gradual process, why tiny substances like ice form great ice mountains that sink a ship, or why Buffett is so rich — we tend to forget the key driver to success.

Counter-intuitive not Intuitive. Intuitive thinking is quite linear than exponential (Counter-intuitive) thinking.

Let’s assume you were asked to calculate 8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8 in your head, you would go ahead and give me the answer in a few seconds which is 72 (Intuitive or Linear).

Then, if I turn around and ask you to calculate 8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8 I know that your head will go ahead and explode. And the answer should be (134,217,728). Counterintuitive.

The problem with us humans is that when compounding isn’t intuitive we tend to ignore its potential and focus on solving problems through other means.

Not because we are doing serious thinking with our head, its because we rarely stop to consider the potential involved in compounding.

Look at how deceitful the rich are that none of the 2,000 books written about Buffert’s success ever had a title like; “This Guy Started Investing Consistently for Three-quarters of a Century.”

While the secret to all his success is supposed to be on such a title above. Well, it is always hard to wrap up our heads with such an idea (compounding) because it is not intuitive.

Now listen and listen attentively. As someone who wants to grow money, I know you have come across many books that teach that.

But I bet you, the only powerful and important book should be called; “Shut Up And Wait.”
This is the only page with a long-term Chart of economic growth.

  3. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew
of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.

I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some
time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

Hi, I will leave you with two of the best plugins I know for this and they are:

1). Uncanny Automator:- The #1 WordPress automation plugin. This will let you connect your WordPress site with hundreds of applications to create automated workflows without writing any code. For example, send a new tweet when a blog post is published.

2). Revive Old Posts:- This will easily let you share old articles at a pre-defined schedule to your social media profile. With this, you can be able to keep your Twitter timeline active throughout the day without manually scheduling tweets.

I hope this will help solve your problems.

  5. With havin so much written content do you
ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has
a lot of exclusive content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced
but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet
without my permission. Do you know any ways to help prevent
content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

    1. Philip_Santus

It’s always disheartening seeing your content copied without your permission.

But one of the advantages of not protecting your content from being copied is that NOT ALL THAT COPY YOUR CONTENT ARE CONTENT SCRAPERS.

Some will do that to share on their social media pages or forums thereby promoting your website.

If you still want to protect your content from scrapers, I have an article that covers a whole lot about that follow the link below:
