2. Planning & Preparation

Every possible structure you can feel or touch has had some planning strategies before being executed.
And there are two planning strategies I do make use of while planning and they are: Virtual and Physical planning.
Virtual Planning:- I memorize how my project should look because thoughts are things.
Physical planning:– I get to sketch my project on a piece of paper, how I truly visualized it. And I do see it come up live before skillfully executing them.

Let me ask you as a person who is intending to be a blogger, have you defined your purpose for starting a blog and your targeted audience?
If not, such is the first and most important thing to do. And remember, your purpose should not be to first make money because, to be sincere with you, blogging is not a get-rich-quick system. Your purpose should be to solve problems and the more problems you solve the more money you will make at last.

How To Define Your Blog’s Purpose.

… Who are you writing for? ask yourself this question and it will help you to identify your target audience. Very important. For me, my audience is people who want to go into blogging and the ones who want to improve theirs.
Consider their age, gender, interests, and needs and the way you can use your blog to solve their problems and provide value to them.

… Define your niche (Topic). Standing out will help you attract more audience though, nothing on earth has never been done before, just the way you do it that matters.

… What do you want to achieve with your blog? Here now, you have to establish your goals. For example, your goal may be increasing website traffic, building brand awareness, or establishing yourself as an authority in your own niche.

… This is the most important aspect of it and I will advise you to write to your audience as you would when speaking. This will help you stand out and create a specified tone and voice for your audience which will resonate with your content.

… make sure your content aligns with your niche. Do not make the mistake of dabbling into topics, not in alignment with your niche because you see that particular content is generating more traffic. With such practice, you will sabotage your expertise. I’m talking with experience, take note.

… What makes you different from other bloggers? Here, try to identify with your experience in life and call out your affirmation according to practical experiences had before. An example with me is, my slogan which reads: “Blogtostay, And Never Leave” It means that anybody coming to my platform should identify me as he who will never leave while blogging.

… Conduct market research on your chosen niche. This research may include surveys, interviews, and focus group research.
… Define your niche to identify the people you will be talking to.
